Trailer: Is ‘Beacon Point’ a Creative New Flick or a ‘Predator’ Ripoff?

Beacon Point looks mighty interesting. It also looks surprisingly similar to a film we’ve all seen and love: Predator.

You’re going to want to take a look at this trailer and then try to formulate your own opinion. I’m torn, acknowledging the cool factor but certainly not ignoring the familiarity of it all.

The film was directed by Eric Blue, who also co-wrote the pic with Traci Carroll.

Rae Olivier (House of Good and Evil), Jon Briddell (Midnight Movie), Eric Goins (Ride Along) and Jason Burkey (Chloe) star.

Synopsis: A group of hikers lost on the Appalachian Trail stumble across an ancient secret that threatens their survival.
