Darren Lynn Bousman Returns with a Trailer for ‘Abattoir’

Darren Lynn Bousman should be a name you know by now. He’s made some superb pictures. In fact, damn near every project the man approaches proves golden. To give you an idea of just how true that statement is, I’ll list a few of the movies the man’s directed:

Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Mother’s Day, The Devil’s Carnival, The Barrens. Outside of the fourth Saw flick, I enjoyed every single film in that list.

Well, Darren Lynn Bousman has returned with another feature length genre film that looks properly suited to scare you out of your socks. Abattoir is Bousman’s new secret weapon, and you can check out the trailer below!

Christopher Monfette, David J. Schow and Teddy Tenenbaum write the script. Jessica Lowndes (Altitude), Joe Anderson (The Ruins), Lin Shaye (Insidious), Michael Paré (The Lincoln Lawyer), Bryan Batt (Funny People) and Dayton Callie (Halloween II) star.

The film arrives on June 7^th.

Synopsis: An investigative reporter works to solve the mystery of a haunted house constructed from rooms of the deceased.
