Trailer: ‘Francesca’, a Brilliant Tribute to Classic Giallo
If you’re a fan of giallo flicks, Luciano Onetti has crafted an insanely promising piece designed to appeal to those who can’t get enough of throwback Italian murder pieces. Francesca is the pic, and tons of promise is what it offers.
The film’s trailer is going to leave you perplexed, as the aesthetic values look wildly true to some of the greatest works crafted by the greatest Italian filmmakers. It looks so authentic it very well could have been shot in 1975, by Dario Argento. Really, it looks great, and you’re best to check it out as opposed to passing on it.
The trailer rocks!
Luciano Onetti directs and co-writes with Nicolás Onetti. Luis Emilio Rodriguez, Gustavo Dalessanro, Raul Gederlini and Silvina Grippaldi star.
No word on a US release date just yet, but you can bet we’ll bring you up to speed when the time comes!
