Trailer: Netflix Originals Prepares ‘Stranger Things’ for Subscribers!

Netflix will be introducing a new Netflix Original series in July, and it looks insanely promising. Stranger Things is the title of the show, and it’s anchored by an excellent crew.

Netflix has the promotional machine up and running, which means we’ve got a pretty radical trailer for you, as well. Honestly, you’re going to want to watch this. And when Stranger Things officially arrives on July 15th, you’ll likely find yourself trapped in a major binge session (I’m requesting the day off)!

Winona Ryder (Beetlejuice), David Harbour (The Equalizer), Finn Wolfhard (the forthcoming It), and Millie Bobby Brown (Intruders) star.

Here’s a taste of info from the official press release:

Matt and Ross Duffer (Wayward Pines, Hidden) serve as writer, directors and co-showrunners of the series, and are executive producers along with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen via their 21 Laps entertainment banner (The Spectacular Now, Night At The Museum, Real Steel, Date Night). Shawn Levy also serves as director. Stranger Things is a Netflix original series.

Dig on that trailer below, as well as a few production stills.

Synopsis: A love letter to the supernatural classics of the 80’s, Stranger Things is the story of a young boy who vanishes into thin air. As friends, family and local police search for answers, they are drawn into an extraordinary mystery involving top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl.
