Is Michael Dougherty Shooting ‘Trick ‘r Treat 2’ this Year?

Could we be on the cusp of learning that another high profile horror film has already begun filming in secrecy?

What in the world am I talking about?

Well, earlier this year we learned that a sequel to Stake Land, appropriately titled The Stakelander had been shot without a single outside soul knowing it. The whole production, completely undetected. As for how that’s relevant to Michael Dougherty, well that’s where it gets interesting.

Dougherty took to his Twitter account today to drop what could possibly be a major, major hint about a film we’ve all been aching to see.

“110 days til Halloween. @trickrtreat.”

But that’s not all. He also included this image that’s going to leave a smile stretched across your face.
