‘Alien: Covenant’ Has Been Completed!
Most of us are beyond excited to see a new Alien film headed our way. Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant will serve as a direct follow up to Prometheus, and another prequel to Scott’s original Alien. It sounds pretty awesome, the imagery we’ve seen looks awesome. And, well… everything Alien is just awesome, so we’re stoked to learn that Alien: Covenant has officially wrapped!
We’ve still got plenty of time before the flick hits theaters on August 4th, 2017, but there’s no reason to contain our excitement, even a year out from release!
The film stars Michael Fassbender who reprises the role of the android, David and Noomi Rapace, who reprises the role of Elizabeth Shaw. Katherine Waterston (Michael Clayton) will portray Ellen Ripley’s mother. Demian Bichir (The Hateful Eight), Danny McBride (Pineapple Express), Jussie Smollett (The Mighty Ducks), Carmen Ejogo (The Purge: Anarchy), Amy Seimetz (You’re Next), Billy Crudup (Almost Famous) and Callie Hernandez (La La Land) round out the primary cast.
