The New ‘Before I Wake’ Trailer is Here… and Creepy!

Mike Flanagan’s new one, Before I Wake is going to have genre fans up in arms, excited to see that Flanagan is the real deal, one and only future of the genre. He’s James Wan times two, and that says an awful lot, as Wan himself is an incredible talent. But Flanagan has something truly, truly special. He’s got that aura that can’t quite be accurately described, but it is felt with each picture he shoots. If ever there was a filmmaker poised to take over the genre, it’s Flanagan.

There’s a new trailer for Before I Wake making the rounds, and you simply have to check it out. Trust me when I tell you you’re not going to be disappointed!

Before I Wake stars Kate Bosworth (Superman Returns), Thomas Jane (Dreamcatcher), Annabeth Gish (Pretty Little Liars), Dash Mihok (Ray Donovan), and Jacob Tremblay (Room).

Look for this one to hit theaters on September 9th!

Synopsis: In this intense and heart-pounding supernatural thriller, Jessie (Bosworth) and Mark (Jane) decide to take in a sweet and loving 8-year-old boy, Cody. Unbeknownst to them, Cody is terrified of falling asleep. At first they assume his previous unstable homes caused his aversion to sleep but soon discover why: Cody’s dreams manifest in reality as he sleeps. In one moment they experience the incredible wonder of Cody’s imagination and in the next the horrific nature of his night terrors. To save their new family, Jessie and Mark embark on a dangerous hunt to uncover the truth behind Cody’s nightmares.
