Snickers Incites Terror in the Halloween Candy Isle

Full confession, I love this commercial. It’s got everything I could ask for from a television show break.

There’s an absurdly nerve wracking man (or is it? Da Duh Da!) in one of the most chilling costumes I’ve seen in years, and he’s looking to ensure that this Halloween doesn’t go to waste. Not that it makes a difference, because for how insanely chilling that this commercial is, it’s actually got a pretty awesome little twist to it.

Now if only I could shake those beady eyes, gazing at an intimidated shopper; bags of candy being hurled into her cart by the hideous, disguised “villain” of the commercial.

Although there’s good fun to be had here, and although it is indeed a great Halloween themed advertisement, there’s also genuine terror lying in wait for anyone bold enough to check it out. In fact, now that I think about it, I may find myself giving the candy a pass in 2016.
