Lennie James, from ‘The Walking Dead’ to ‘Blade Runner’

Lennie James, who plays everyone’s favorite peace keeper, Morgan, on The Walking Dead is beginning to see his schedule fill up with some major marquee roles. And, as long as he’s still around to play the crucial puzzle piece that is Morgan on TWD, we’re all for the man landing more monstrous roles.

Next up for James will be the long-discussed Denis Villeneuve directed Blade Runner sequel.

Harrison Ford reprises his role as Rick Deckard. Also included in the lineup are Ryan Gosling (Drive), Robin Wright (Forrest Gump), Ana de Armas (Knock Knock), Sylvia Hoeks (The Storm), Carla Juri (Morris from America), Mackenzie Davis (The Martian), Barkhad Abdi (Eye in the Sky), David Dastmalchian (The Dark Knight), Hiam Abbass (Exodus: Gods and Kings) and Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy).

As of now we’ve got very little in the way of plot details, but we are looking at a scheduled October 6th, 2017 release date.

We’ll keep you in the loop!
