Survive the Teaser Trailer for ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’ Now!

What started as a small survival horror game would eventually blossom into an enormous money making machine. Countless video game sequels have hit the market over the years, and six live action films have also sprung up over the last decade and a half. Even a number of animated films have hit the market. Resident Evil isn’t just some schlock franchise, it’s a powerhouse brand with a legion of fans.

Those fans are going to be forced to accept the fact that the big screen ride is coming to an end. Paul W.S. Anderson will be unveiling his final Resident Evil flick, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter on January 27th, 2017.

Milla Jovovich will of course reprise her role as Alice, the franchise’s longtime heroine. Joining Jovovich on screen will be a few newcomers and a whole lot of familiar faces in the forms of Ruby Rose (Orange is the New Black, Around the Block), Ali Larter (best known for her work in the Resident Evil and Final Destination franchises), Iain Glen (Resident Evil: Extinction, Game of Thrones), Shawn Roberts (X-Men, Resident Evil: Afterlife), William Levy (The Single Moms Club, The Tempest) and Eoin Macken (The Forest, The Night Shift).

Dig on the brand new teaser below, and keep in mind, January 27th is the day all hell breaks loose, yet again!

Synopsis: Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, humanity is on its last legs in Washington D.C. As the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began – Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse. In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between regaining her superhuman abilities at Wesker’s hand and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.
