‘Lights Out’ Hits DVD and Blu-ray in Time for Halloween
Lights Out was one of those rare commercial horror pieces that pleased fans unanimously. It’s a creepy little picture, and the cinematography is absolutely mind blowing. If you haven’t seen it yet, don’t sweat an extended wait for the disc release. Lights Out will be heading home faster than expected!
As we just learned today, the critically acclaimed genre film, Lights Out will hit Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD on October 25th. The flick will also be available through digital retailers beginning on October 11th.
David F. Sandberg (whose own short film of the same name inspired the feature length adaptation) directs from a screenplay written by Eric Heisserer.
Teresa Palmer, Gabriel Bateman, Maria Bello and Billy Burke star.
Synopsis: When Rebecca (Teresa palmer) left home, she thought she left her childhood fears behind. Growing up, she was never really sure of what was and wasn’t real when the lights went out…and now her little brother, Martin, is experiencing the same unexplained and terrifying events that had once tested her sanity and threatened her safety. A frightening entity with a mysterious attachment to their mother, Sophie (Maria Bello), has reemerged. But this time, as Rebecca gets closer to unlocking the truth, there is no denying that all their lives are in danger…once the lights go out.
