Watch the First 10 Minutes of ‘The Shallows’ Before You Hit the Waves

If you weren’t able to squeeze a visit to the theater in to see this past summer’s big horror attraction, The Shallows, you’ll be okay. The film hits Blu-ray and DVD in a matter of weeks. And if you’re not entirely certain you care about seeing the film, we suggest you look into the video attached below. It’s the first 10 minutes of the film, which will either encourage you to pursue this one, or leave you certain you’re not interested in it!

Jaume Collet-Serra directs from a script penned by Anthony Jaswinski. Blake Lively (The Town, The Age of Adaline), Óscar Jaenada (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, The Losers), Brett Cullen (The Dark Knight Rises, Ghost Rider) and Sedona Legge star.

The film is scheduled to hit discs on September 27^th.

Synopsis: Nancy (Lively) is surfing alone on a secluded beach when she is attacked by a Great White and stranded just a short distance from shore. Though she is only 200 yards from her survival, getting there proves the ultimate contest of wills. It’s Jaws for a new generation.
