Tim Burton Shares His Vision in New ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children’ Featurette

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children

Tim Burton’s adaptation of Ransom Riggs’ immensely popular Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is edging closer to release, and that means we’re seeing more and more of the picture and the process of assembling such a grand showcase. The latest gift we’re being given is a featurette that really highlights Burton’s vision of the story.

It’s a fine featurette if ever there was one!

While we’ve already shown you the official trailer (you can look at it again directly below), we haven’t yet shared this awesome new featurette, so, give it a look after you finish reading the synopsis.

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is scheduled for a September 30th release.

The cast includes Eva Green (Dark Shadows, Penny Dreadful), Asa Butterfield (Hugo, Ender’s Game), Ella Purnell (Kick-Ass 2, Maleficent), Allison Janney (American Beauty, Finding Nemo), Terence Stamp (Wanted, The Limey), and Rupert Everett (Cemetery Man, Shrek) with Judi Dench (Skyfall, Casino Royale) and Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction, The Hateful Eight).

Synopsis: When Jake discovers clues to a mystery that spans alternate realities and times, he uncovers a secret refuge known as Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As he learns about the residents and their unusual abilities, Jake realizes that safety is an illusion, and danger lurks in the form of powerful, hidden enemies. Jake must figure out who is real, who can be trusted, and who he really is.
