All You Need to Know About ‘Patient Seven’, Including Some Awesome Videos

Patient Seven Picture

Patient Seven is looking like a pic that genre lovers will be happy to get behind.

Anthologies are always a blast, as very rarely do we encounter an anthology that has nothing to offer (okay, there was the stomach turning V/H/S Viral, but beyond that…), there’s a strong cast in front of the cameras, and there are a number of young filmmakers handling intriguing segments, like Joel Morgan who’s already offered up a few wicked shorts (you can find some of his work by hitting youtube and searching for the Bloody Cuts series) and Nicholas Peterson who’s proven to be well rounded, capable of putting together impressive visual effects and just as capable of directing a production, as evidenced by one of his earlier works, Dark Mind.

The point is, much like the V/H/S franchise and the ABCs of Death franchise, Patient Seven will bring together a nice handful of cinematic prospects to deliver a wide array of terrifying tales.

We’re more than intrigued, and we’re more than pleased to show you the official trailer for the film as well as a brand spankin’ new clip.

Here’s the clip. You’ll find the official trailer below the press release.

As you can see, it’s becoming quite clear that these folks at Terror Films certainly have their finger on the pulse of horror!

Here’s some valuable 411 from the official press release:

On October 11th, 2016, Terror Films will be releasing their highly anticipated Horror Anthology, PATIENT SEVEN. The film contains a wrap-around story, written by Barry Jay Stitch (The Chosen) and directed by genre veteran Danny Draven (Ghost Month, Reel Evil).

The wraparound intertwines 7 award winning, short films by filmmakers from around the globe that include: Nicholas Peterson, Paul Davis, Ómar Örn Hauksson, Dean Hewison, Erlingur Thoroddsen, Joel Morgan, Johannes Persson and Rasmus Wassberg.

The cast includes: Amy Smart (Just Friends, The Single Mom’s Club), Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones, John Wick), and Doug Jones (Legion, Crimson Peak) among others. Now, more of the cast can be seen in the “I Banish Thee” clip, which is available here!

The wrap around stars veteran actor and genre favorite, Michael Ironside (Scanners, Total Recall) as Dr. Marcus. Dr. Marcus, a renowned psychiatrist, has selected 6 severe mentally ill and dangerous patients, from the Spring Valley Mental Hospital, to interview as part of research for his new book.

As Dr. Marcus interviews each patient, one by one the horrors they have committed begin to unfold. However, Dr. Marcus soon learns that there is one patient that has been kept from him, by the hospital’s administrator, Dr. Vincent, played by Jack Plotnick (Drawn Together, Reno 911!: Miami).
