2016 has been a year to produce a staggering amount of wildly spirited indie flicks, and somehow, they just keep coming. The latest pic to really snag our attention is The Unspoken, which looks to be an uber eerie watch, if the trailer for the film is any accurate indication.

There’s a strong ensemble in front of the cameras, and a mighty fine filmmaker at the helm, which means investing early hope in this one may not be a bad idea. We’re certainly stoked to check the movie out!

Just watch the trailer below, we’re confident you’ll reach the same conclusion.

Directed by Award-winning filmmaker Sheldon Wilson (Kaw, Shallow Ground) the flick stars Neal McDonough (Suits, Arrow), Jodelle Ferland (Silent Hill), Sunny Suljic (1915), and Matt Bellefleur (In Their Skin).

Look for The Unspoken to hit theaters and VOD on October 28th, just in time for some Halloween viewing!

The film will be screening in New York (Cinema Village), Los Angeles (Noho 7) and regional territories including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Minneapolis, Orlando and more.

Synopsis: In 1997 the close-knit Anderson family vanished from their country home without a trace without an explanation. No bodies were ever found and for 17 years the house has remained undisturbed…until now. A sinister tale of haunting and murder, THE UNSPOKEN is a refreshing twist on the horror genre just in time for Halloween.
