International ‘Kong: Skull Island’ Trailer Looks Wicked Good

Kong: Skull Island

I will make an open confession that makes me feel a little dirty: I’ve never been a huge King Kong fan.

I respect a few of the films we’ve seen over the decades (Cooper and Schoedsack’s 1933 effort being my personal pick for best, if I’m making one), and I’ve always thought the idea behind the beast was cool, and had a lot of potential to be worked with.

I’ve just never genuinely loved a King Kong movie.

That might change soon, when Kong: Skull Island arrives. I can’t deny the addictiveness of this new international trailer, which, to my knowledge, offers the best look we’ve gotten from this Kong flick, yet.

Watch it below. And check it out on Mach 10th, 2017.

Jordan Vogt-Roberts directs from a script penned by John Gatins and Max Borenstein.

Tom Hiddleston (The Avengers, Crimson Peak), Brie Larson (21 Jump Street, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), John Goodman (10 Cloverfield Lane, The Big Lebowski), Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction, The Avengers), John C. Reilly (Step Brothers, Wreck-It Ralph), Toby Kebbell (Warcraft: The Beginning, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), Will Brittain (Everybody Wants Some!!, The Doo Dah Man), Thomas Mann (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters), Jason Mitchell (Straight Outta Compton), Corey Hawkins (The Walking Dead), John Ortiz (Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem), and Eugene Cordero (Ghostbusters) star.

Synopsis: Kong: Skull Island reimagines the origin of the mythic Kong in a compelling, original adventure from director Jordan Vogt-Roberts. A diverse team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacific—as beautiful as it is treacherous—unaware that they’re crossing into the domain of the mythic Kong.
