Find ‘The Shelter’ on VOD Now
The Shelter is one of those productions that’s managed to gain a lot of attention from genre aficionados and casual fans alike, but it’s been ages since we heard of any forward momentum on the film. That all changed just a few days ago, as the picture has finally hit VOD outlets and will make a small limited theatrical run in the weeks to come.
You can get a look at the trailer below, and if you happen to be located in the Los Angeles area, you can catch this one on the big screen, as it will be featured up through November 11th at the Laemmle Ahrya Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills.
John Fallon writes and directs. Michael Paré, Gayle James, Rachel Whittle, Lauren Thomas, Daena Turner, and Amy Wickenheiser star.
Synopsis: Vagrant Thomas Jacob (Michael Paré of “Eddie and the Cruisers” fame) finds shelter for the night when he falls upon a seemingly abandoned two-story home with its lights on and an inviting front door. Once inside, his past comes to haunt him and he soon realizes that he is not alone. There’s a supernatural force on hand and it won’t let him leave. Destiny has brought Thomas to this place but will he survive the ordeal?
