Top 10 Scariest Movie Aliens of All Time

Aliens unlike monsters, demons and ghosts aren’t exclusive to horror movies, and cases can be made for nothing being exclusive to horror, but if you’re putting any of the other three mentioned in your movie then nine times out of ten it’s going to be a horror piece. But aliens inhabit a much wider spectrum of genres, mainly sci-fi, well almost entirely sci-fi, but my point is they are a much more versatile creature. They can be and do anything a filmmakers wants; from parasites to shapeshifting nightmares aliens have taken many forms throughout cinema history.

So here is a list of alien creatures that have stuck out to me over the years. Some of the movies that they inhabit may not exactly be critical darlings (though some of them are) but for my money they are either some of the most fun, terrifying or deadly alien creatures that I’ve come across in my many years as a horror fan.
