Evil Dead Day: See the Deleted Scenes and Alternate Ending of Fede Alvarez’s ‘Evil Dead’ Remake

Since we’re in the Evil Dead mood, and since we’re in the sharing mood, we thought we should bring Fede Alvarez’s 2013 remake into the mix.

Most of you have seen this stunning overachiever, but there are probably a fair share of you who haven’t had the chance to look into some of the deleted scenes from the movie, including the awesome alternate ending that could easily set up a killer sequel and the prolonged tongue slice which is just… well, uncomfortable!

Below you’ll see a full six minutes of greatness, all of which is featured on the Blu-ray release.

Synopsis: Five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
