‘The Water Rises’ is the Latest Scary Endings Offering and it’s a Keeper
Scary Endings is one of the greatest short series’ in existence. Even the “weaker” efforts in the series are typically far superior to your average short, so when you get an episode like The Water Rises, you appreciate greatness all the more. This is a damn solid little film and it has some serious talent involved.
John Fitzpatrick writes and directs the flick while Kaitlin Doubleday (Empire) and Adam J. Yeend (Brentwood Strangler) star.
If you’ve got issues with elevators, or claustrophobia, you’re about to be chilled to the bone – if you’ve just got a love for strong film, you’ll… well, you’ll be chilled to the bone! Synopsis: Newlyweds Jennifer (Kaitlin Doubleday) and Matt (Adam J. Yeend) are enjoying a tropical cruise for their honeymoon when disaster strikes the ship trapping the couple in an elevator at the bowels of the ship. As the elevator sinks, the water rises, and time is running short to for these newlyweds to escape for air!
