‘Ghost in the Shell’ is Back and Aiming for Dominance via Blu-ray, DVD, VOD and Theatrical Screenings

Longtime Ghost in the Shell fans have been waiting for a day so glorious. You’ll soon be able to pick the flick up in an awesome limited Steelbook packaging.

As if Ghost in the Shell wasn’t already abnormally cool!

Ghost in the Shell will be made available in a Limited Steelbook Packaging with Exclusive Mondo Artwork.

Look for the flick to be available on Blu-ray + Digital HD on March 14th, 2017.

The film is also tapped to return to theaters for a very limited time: You can see it on February 7th and 8th as it will be screening on 110 theaters in the US.

Synopsis: A female cybernetic government agent, Major Motoko Kusanagi, and the Internal Bureau of Investigations are hot on the trail of “The Puppet Master,” a mysterious and threatening computer virus capable of infiltrating human hosts. Together, with her fellow agents from Section 9, they embark on a high-tech race against time to capture the omnipresent entity.  Ghost in the Shell took the world by storm in the mid-90’s, exhibiting a new dimension of anime with unprecedented, mesmerizing cinematic expression. Seamlessly merging traditional animation with the latest computer graphic imagery, this stunning sci-fi spectacle challenged the boundaries of mainstream animation with detailed artistic expression and a uniquely intelligent story line.
