Dig on the Trailer for Trey Edward Shults’ ‘It Comes at Night’
I’m onboard for any flick featuring the onscreen talent of a guy like Joel Edgerton. Since he’s fronting the forthcoming chiller, It Comes at Night, I couldn’t resist looking into the film. While I haven’t heard any word of a screener making the rounds, there is a slick new trailer up that just might inspire you to pursue the film.
You can see the trailer directly below.
The extremely talented Trey Edward Shults writes and directs.
Joining Edgerton in front of the camera are Riley Keough, Christopher Abbott and Carmen Ejogo.
The film is scheduled to arrive on August 25th.
Synopsis: A man (Joel Edgerton) learns that the evil stalking his family home may be only a prelude to horrors that come from within.
Secure within a desolate home as an unnatural threat terrorizes the world, the tenuous domestic order he has established with his wife and son is put to the ultimate test with the arrival of a desperate young family seeking refuge.
Despite the best intentions of both families, paranoia and mistrust boil over as the horrors outside creep ever-closer, awakening something hidden and monstrous within him as he learns that the protection of his family comes at the cost of his soul.
