Stephen King Has Seen ‘Gerald’s Game’ and His Praise Has Us Stoked Beyond Belief!
We all know that Mike Flanagan has been hard at work adapting Stephen King’s chiller, Gerald’s Game. Well, today we’re learning that King himself had the chance to screen a rough version of the film, and, well, his impression should leave a great number of fans with extremely high hopes.
Check out what King said via Facebook!
We’re still waiting on an official release date, but if all goes well, we will indeed see this one in 2017!
Carla Gugino, Henry Thomas, Bruce Greenwood and Kate Siegel star.
Here’s the synopsis for those who haven’t read the novel:
When a harmless game between a married couple in a remote retreat suddenly becomes a harrowing fight for survival, wife Jessie must confront long-buried demons within her own mind – and possibly lurking in the shadows of her seemingly empty house.
This book was really disturbing because it relied on psychological horror. Of course, there is a graphic scene that has stuck with me for years. Be careful of the games you play! I can’t wait to see this one!
