This Trailer Makes Us Want to Log on to ‘Slasher.com’

Slasher.com looks like a modernized throwback (is that an oxymoron?) flick, and that’s got us pretty stoked. The trailer has a wealth of promise, and we’re eager to get a look at more. It looks like we’ve got some time to wait; while the film is tapped for a 2017 arrival, no official release date has been announced just yet.

The film is directed by Chip Gubera from a screenplay written by Chelsea Andes.

Jewel Shepard, R.A. Mihailoff, Ben Kaplan and Morgan Carter star.

Synopsis: A dive into the deep waters of classic horror films updated with novel, unanticipated plot twists. The film blends legendary horror actors (Jewel Shepard, RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD and R.A. Mihailoff, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE III) with fresh faces on the film scene (Ben Kaplan, Morgan Carter, and Rebecca Crowley). Hazards of modern technology lead the characters into a dark, remote, isolated backwoods far away from the trappings and safety of suburbia or city life. There they encounter a family like no other.
