Terminator: Genisys isn’t what I’d deem a horror film, but throughout the franchise’s run it has no doubt delved into horror territory. The original Terminator was damn near a straight-forward horror film when you think about it; Terminator 2 features some absolutely raw, horror inspired imagery and even Terminator: Salvation dropped viewers into a terrifying post-apocalyptic setting. The genre certainly permeates the franchise.
That’s why we thought it would be pretty damn cool to give you a look at this extensive two-and-a-half hour feature that shows the making of the film, including plenty of looks at the animatronics and terminator designs. It’s a damn enlightening piece of film, and if you’ve got any love for the franchise, you’re probably going to be entertained by this one!

As a reminder, Terminator Genisys, while more than recuperating it’s budget took the franchise to depressing lows. The film earned scathing reviews, and very few who saw the picture enjoyed it (I fell asleep, believe it or not).
But that doesn’t mean you won’t enjoy a look at the inner workings of the production!
