‘Hammer Horror: The Warner Bros Years’ is Still Coming!

We haven’t heard many updates on Marcus Hearn’s upcoming documentary, Hammer Horror: The Warner Bros Years, and if the amount of email and DM questions I’ve received regarding the film is any indicator, people still really want to know if this picture is going to be available any time soon.

While I can’t give you any exact dates, I was able to get in contact with Marcus, and he not only assured me the flick is still in the making, he also gave me an idea as to the picture’s price point. Expect the Blu-ray to run somewhere in the $30-$35 range, which isn’t a bad price at all, given the content and insight we’re going to be privy to!

You can head over to the official site for full details, but we’ll give you a brief idea of what this one is about, below.

The classic Hammer films from Warner Bros are now finally appearing on Blu-ray. However, they have never received an in-depth exploration in any special feature or documentary. Now, the fascinating story is finally told in this unprecedented 90-minute documentary feature, HAMMER HORROR: THE WARNER BROS YEARS, written and directed by Marcus Hearn, Hammer Films’ official historian. The documentary features exclusive interviews with some of the key players from that period, as well as authors and historians like Sir Christopher Frayling and Jonathan Rigby. Also included are rare production stills, previously unseen film footage, Hammer’s original shooting locations, and access to previously unpublished archive documents.

Now, dig on the trailer, and keep your eyes open, this is going to be a flick you can’t miss!
