The Scariest Pennywise Moments from the Made-for-TV Version of ‘It’; Tim Curry Slays!

Pennywise has some absolutely stellar moments in the 1990 made-for-tv picture, It. It’s one of the more enjoyable Stephen King adaptations out there (even if it is dated, and watered down for the boob tube) and it birthed one of today’s most recognizable villains: Pennywise the Clown. He’s just one of many shapes that “It” can assume, but it’s the most chilling, by far.

We love the look. We’re also stoked to see the remake hit theaters. S0, why not honor Tim Curry before we begin making the inevitable comparisons between Curry and Bill Skarsgård?

A little tribute seems appropriate!

Here are five of the creepiest scenes that feature Pennywise in Tommy Lee Wallace’s flick!

Urine

Dread

Paralyzing

Heartbreaking

Yuck
