‘Friday the 13th: The Game’ Will FINALLY Be Available Next Month
This Friday the 13th game… wow. This wait has been absolutely brutal. It’s been debilitating. It’s been depressing. It has probably led to more than a single unfortunate suicide. It’s been forever. Really, when did the Kickstarter launch, 1912?
Well, it doesn’t matter much now… or, it won’t soon enough. Friday the 13th: The Game will be available as a digital download for Xbox One, PS4, and Steam on May 26th. It’ll run you an affordable $40. And, as a total and complete NON-gamer, I’m more than comfortable knowing I’ll be forking out $40 for this game. It’s the first game I’ve wanted to play since the first Resident Evil hit PS1.
The concept of the game is as basic as the concept of the films: Jason Voorhees hunts down nubile campers and slaughters them in an assortment of interesting and stomach turning ways. The biggest perk with this game though, comes in the fact that you can either portray a camp counselor, or Jason himself in this multi-player game that boils down to good guy verses bad guy.
It’s going to be brilliant, and we’ll all be talking it up next month!
