Be Gone Dylan Dog: Watch Dylan Dawn Get Wild in ‘Dylan: Dream of the Living Dead’ Pilot

In all honesty, I consider Dylan Dog a genuine guilty pleasure film (the comics are actually stellar). It’s all sorts of bad in all sorts of different ways, but by god, I did have serious fun with the flick. Too bad every other soul hated it.

Well, it looks like Dylan is trying to win his way back into our hearts. Don’t get too concerned: Brandon Routh isn’t in it. In fact, this particular Dylan (played by Ford Everett) isn’t even the same character. This is Dylan Dawn, and he investigates nightmares as opposed to tangible monstrosities.

It’s got promise, that’s for damn sure.

Denise Ankel, Harry Baer, H.K. DeWitt and Bang Viet Pham join Everett on screen.

Here’s the synopsis for the first episode:

After a fight with her husband Corrado, Morgana’s world doesn’t seem right anymore. It’s as it she’s trapped in a fever dream, as death slowly creeps up to her. Can detective Dylan Dawn save her or is she forever trapped in this nightmare?
