Real Life Horror: Man Arrested for Alleged Murder with Razor Gloves
Denver, Colorado resident Chris Gulzow was arrested May 23, 2017, after an altercation with a homeless man led to his being fatally stabbed with blades on Gulzow’s gloves. Gulzow claims the man threatened him, and also claims that the stabbing might have been an accident, but witnesses to the incident claim otherwise.
Gulzow’s father reported that Gulzow was taking anger management classes and may have stopped taking his medication. Gulzow’s friend Billy Puryear described him as “real creepy,” and told reporters that Gulzow “was always role playing, emulating various goth musicians, and dressing up as a demon, a vampire or a ghoul.”
Puryear further stated that Gulzow was “lonely” and “bored” and that did not have many friends. Gulzow has a criminal record that includes domestic violence, assault; he has also previously been convicted of “menacing with a deadly weapon.” At present, Gulzow is in jail with no option for bond, waiting for formal charges.
