The Babadook as LGBT icon

Something weird and amazing is happening all over the internet.

The Babadook is becoming a bit it of a LGBT icon.

As far as I can tell, the rumors started flying around the internet in the summer of 2016, when Netflix users reported finding the 2014 film The Babadook in the LGBT section of the streaming service.

Since then, the internet has exploded with memes, tweets, articles, and general support of the terrifying creature newest gay superstar.

Read all about this bizarre and magical turn of events in preparation for your Pride celebrations, and keep one eye peeled for the Babadook.

In fact, I’d be surprised if you didn’t see a few folks dressed in a top hat and deathly white face paint this Pride season.
