The 10 Best Horror Movies of 1995

When pundits and fans alike comment on the nearly deceased state of horror that stretched through the mid-80s into the mid-90s, they really are telling the truth. There are a few stand out years in that decade of hollow space, but those standouts are sparse, to be kind.

1995 marks one of the years in which the tides began to turn. The year wasn’t stacked top to bottom with stellar material it must be said, but right around 1995 the interest in the dark side of cinema was taking on new life. Again, it wasn’t a full-blown revival in 1995, but it was the beginning of an upward trend that we’re still enjoying today.

Detectives M.J. and Reuben visit her and Helen teams up with them and prepares the profile of the killer that wants to be famous. But soon the copycat killer Peter Foley contacts and stalks Helen and M.J. and Reuben give protection to her. Will they be capable to stop Foley before the next murder?
