5 Perfect Horror Films for Father’s Day

OH, Daddy Dear! Father’s Day is upon us and what better way to celebrate than watching a movie with dear ol’ Dad. Too often we find evil fathers figure in horror flicks, you know like that crazy guy in The Shining. But, what about the good guys? Here’s a quick list to get you started… Let’s hear it for the Dads!
1 Train to Busan
This movie portrays the best dad ever. The city has been infected and dad will do anything it takes to get his little girl to safety. Not only does Dad have to fight off the undead, he also finds himself fighting off other desperate people trying to secure a seat on the last train to Busan and safety. This has to be the best zombie apocalypse movie to date!
2 Something in the Woods (2016)
Yikes! You all have heard the stories of Big Foot, well this flick is based on a true story of a family terrorized by said creature. Dad steps up to the plate to protect his family at great risk to himself.
3 The Hours Till Daylight (2016)
Dad to be Marco has an ungodly fear of the dark, now that his child is about to be born he decides he must face his demons and rid himself of this curse before he can truly be a good father. This is another film inspired by true events.
4 Ghosthunters (2016)
WOW! Now, this is a Dad! Henry is part of a ghost hunting crew that can trap ghosts. When his wife and daughter are murdered at the hands of a serial killer, Henry and company decide to find the ghosts of Henry’s family. Battling the paranormal, Henry goes to great lengths to set their spirits free.
5 Black Mask (2014)
Okay, so this one is a horror short with a runtime of 18 minutes, but what a creepy 18 minutes it is! A father must come to terms with his dark past when his daughter begins to show signs of a dark entity possessing her.
