Unto the End

unto the end

Platform: PlayStation 4, PC, XBox One

Genre: Action\Adventure\Platformer

Release Date: 2018

Synopsis: “Unto The End is a 2D cinematic adventure with skillful sword-based combat and emergent gameplay. You take the role of a father, who sets out on a quest for vengeance after his family is killed by a ferocious beast. It’s a journey driven by unforgiving encounters, meaningful choices, and moments of stark beauty. Unto the End presents combat as a discipline, with opponents acting savagely to protect their territory within the indifferent wilderness. Encounters will culminate in one of various directions, using your stealth, cunning or even restraint to progress along the path. Combat is a weighty and hard-fought exertion against the environment, the beasts you encounter and, ultimately, your own strength as you approach your opponent’s retribution.” (

Plus it’s gory!

Hunt: Showdown

Platform: PC, PlayStation 4, XBox One

Genre: Multiplayer shooter

Release date: None yet

Synopsis: “You and your partner are members of a secret hunting society that tracks and kills monsters. The bounties are high, but so are the risks. The smallest mistake will cost you everything–your bounty, your gear, your life, and your very soul. Some hunt for wealth, some for power. Some hunt to protect others, some hunt for glory. You must track your quarry through a dark and treacherous world. Winner takes all. Fail, and go straight to hell […] Hunting for sport is child’s play. This is a different kind of game, one with high stakes and even higher rewards. You will face creatures that want to gorge themselves on your flesh and devour your soul. Everything and everyone is against you–even the earth itself. Make one mistake, and you will die in filth, forgotten. Succeed, and the bounty and the glory will be immense.” (

After being stuck in development hell, the game will be ready for public testing “soon.”

About GhoulieJoe (169 Articles)
I wuvs the horror movies and like to write snarky reviews about them. I also included some pretentious as hell microfiction (don't worry, it's at the bottom).
