Well, Kevin Bacon – and a lot of fans – have been talking about returning to the role of Valentine McKee in a new Tremors project for a long time, and now it appears to be happening! Bacon recently opened up to Screen Daily and broke word on a new Tremors series that, pretty much everyone alive is going to want to see.

“We are going to do a pilot for Syfy,” the Footloose and Diner star told Screen while at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, where he was attending a screening of Story Of A Girl, in which he co-stars.
He will again be playing Valentine McKee, the Nevada handyman who tussles with gigantic man-eating sandworms.
“It’s the only character I’ve ever played that I was interested in exploring 25 years later,” Bacon said. “It (Tremors) is a really good movie.
That’s great news. SyFy needs another hit, and Bacon is a mighty reliable performer that fans absolutely adore. Throw in the fact that we get more awesome Graboids and everybody walks away a winner!
