‘Conjuring the Witch’s Doll’ Looks Riveting, Terrifying and Extremely Original
In case you may have missed it, that title is drenched in sarcasm. This is obviously not an original film, and it doesn’t look particularly riveting or terrifying. It’s an obvious rip-off, so blatant it makes Asylum look like an innovative company. Conjuring the Witch’s Doll… yep, this one is going to leave a mark.
The strangest part? This is so outrageously bold in its theft that I’m actually curious about it. I’m hoping the characters all share names from the Conjuring/Annabelle flicks. That would take the cake, and only add to the amazing unintentional comedy.
Lawrence Fowler directs. Helen Crevel, Neil Hobbs, Philip Ridout, and Claire Carreno star (in a potential instant career killer).
