‘The Shape of Water’ May Not Be a Horror Movie, but You Know You Love Guillermo del Toro (trailer)

Guillermo del Toro is known for bringing the scares, but he can rock other genres, like in ‘Pacific Rim’. ‘The Shape of Water’ is classified as a drama and has been described as a fairy tale.

It’s 1963, and a lonely laboratory worker bonds with a fish creature (not unlike the Creature from the Black Lagoon) she finds in a tank.

This movie looks so epic you won’t even care that it’s not scary! It promises all the other feels! Plus it has Michael Shannon (‘Bug’, ‘Take Shelter’), Sally Hawkins (‘Godzilla’, ‘The Killing Gene’), Octavia Spencer (‘Snowpiercer’, ‘Halloween II’), and Doug Jones (‘Pan’s Labyrinth’, ‘John Dies at the End’ ‘The Bye Bye Man)  as the fish creature.

It will be released December 8th.

I wuvs the horror movies and like to write snarky reviews about them. I also included some pretentious as hell microfiction (don't worry, it's at the bottom).
