Aronofsky’s ‘Mother’ Official Teaser Trailer Looks Utterly Creepy

Although only 30 seconds in length, the new teaser trailer for Mother! appears to embody all the psychological horror tropes we love while casting Jennifer Lawrence in a sublimely creepy and mysterious role. A bucolic and isolated setting, an unusual visitor, and screams of abject terror and murder…this promising film is set to be released on September 15th, 2017.

Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan) returns to the director’s chair, while Javier Bardem, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Ed Harris co-star.
