‘Don’t Knock Twice’, ‘House on Willow Street’ and ‘Phoenix Forgotten’ Arrive on Disc Today

There are plenty of re-releases, special editions and restored films being made available this week, but we thought we’d keep it nice and simple for you and highlight the brand new disc additions that may warrant a purchase.

Don’t Knock Twice

The sculptor Jess unsuccessfully tries to retrieve the custody of her teenage daughter Chloe. During the night, Chloe and her boyfriend Danny play a prank challenging an urban legend: and they knock twice on the door of the witch Mary Aminov. Soon Danny is hunted down by a fiend and vanishes. When Chloe is haunted by the evil spirit, she flees to the house of her estranged mother and her husband Ben to stay with her mother. Soon the demon finds her and haunts the house while Ben is traveling. Jess’ model Tira sees darkness around Chloe and she researches the Internet about the mystery. Meanwhile Detective Boardman is investigating the disappearance of Danny and suspects Jess is manipulating her troubled daughter.

House on Willow Street

For six weeks, Hazel, Ade, James, and Mark plot a plan to abduct Katherine, the daughter of a jewelry dealer. When they break in the house of the family on Willow Street, Ade sees cannibalistic symbols on her wardrobe. They put Katherine in the van and bring her to an abandoned facility. They chain Katherine in the basement and video-tape her. They send the video to her family and then call her father to ask for the ransom. They are not able to contact the father by phone so Ade and James drive to the house to talk to him. However they find Katherine’s parents dead on their bed and two priests dead in the basement. Ade finds a couple of video tapes and he brings them back to their hideout. When they watch the video, they see that they have unleashed a demon and they are doomed to die.

Phoenix Forgotten

Phoenix Forgotten tells the story of three teens who went into the desert shortly after the incident, hoping to document the strange events occurring in their town. They disappeared that night, and were never seen again. Now, on the twentieth anniversary of their disappearance, unseen footage has finally been discovered, chronicling the final hours of their fateful expedition. For the first time ever, the truth will be revealed.
