See ‘Forrest Gump’ Recut as a Creepy Horror Trailer

What if Forrest Gump was a horror movie? That would obviously be wild, and it’s something we’ll never know, but we do know what the Forrest Gump trailer looks like when it’s been recut as a horror piece. It’s friggin’ glorious!

The creepiest aspect of this trailer is the alarming similarities between Tom Hanks’ depiction of Forrest Gump and Billy Bob Thornton’s work as Karl Childers in the tremendously disconcerting, Sling Blade. Seriously, the two characters are terrifyingly similar. It’s probably a good thing that Gump preferred the ping pong paddle to the sling blade!
