Kane Hodder is one of the most fascinating men in the business. He’s seen the ups, the downs and everything in between when it comes to his career, and he’s emerged as genuine, stand-up guy as a result. Seriously. If you’ve never met the man, you’re missing out on a special moment, but you’ll probably get that impression when you check out To Hell and Back: The Kane Hodder Story, an extremely promising documentary for which we finally have a trailer!

Masterfully Macabre Entertainment produces the flick while Derek Dennis Herbert directs. Look for appearances from a whole slew of genre familiars, including Cassandra Peterson, Bruce Campbell, Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, Sean Cunningham, Robert Englund, Danielle Harris, and more.

The film will make its official debut at London’s FrightFest film festival on August 26th.

To Hell and Back is a harrowing story of a stuntman overcoming a dehumanizing childhood filled with torment and bullying in Sparks, Nevada. After surviving a near-death burn accident, he worked his way up through Hollywood, leading to his ultimate rise as Jason Voorhees in the Friday the 13th series and making countless moviegoers forever terrified of hockey masks and summer camp. After decades of watching Kane Hodder on screen, get ready to meet the man behind the mask in To Hell and Back – an uniquely human story about one of cinema’s most vicious monsters.
