PSA: ‘The Transfiguration’ is Now Streaming on Netflix!
The Transfiguration has been called a lot of things, and I’m not sure if a single one of those things has been negative. It’s been referred to by many as the greatest vampire film since Let the Right One In. While I’ve yet to see the film, that’s an extremely generous comparison, so someone has clearly done something right. And Netflix is getting in on the action early – the film has now been added to the popular VOD outlet’s streaming lineup!
Michael O’Shea writes and directs.
Eric Ruffin, Chloe Levine, Jelly Bean, Phyillicia Bishop, Larry Fessenden and Lloyd Kaufman all appear in the film!
Dig on the trailer below, or head right over to Netflix and jump into this one ASAP!
Synopsis:
It’s a trip worth taking. O’Shea’s debut feature follows troubled teen Milo (Eric Ruffin), who hides behind his fascination with vampire lore. When he meets the equally alienated Sophie (Chloe Levine), the two form a bond that begins to challenge Milo’s dark obsession, blurring his fantasy into reality. A chilling portrait of violence, The Transfiguration is a stunning atmospheric thriller set against the grit of New York City.
