Rest in Peace: Hollywood Wild Man and ‘Predator’ Standout Sonny Landham Dies at 76

Sonny Landham had a reputation as a certified wild man while actively working in the business (before pursuing a career in politics). It helped to make him a little infamous and a little famous, as well. Sadly, Landham passed away as a result of congestive heart failure on Thursday He was 76 years old.

Landham stole our hearts in the insanely gratifying action/horror piece, Predator, but he also appeared in kick ass works, Lock Up, 48 Hrs., The Warriors and Poltergeist.

Our deepest condolences go out to Landhham’s family and friends. We lost one of the greatest wild men we’ve ever seen on the big screen, and that stoic yet magnetic persona will never fade.
