‘The Lodgers’ Will Premiere in September at the Toronto International Film Festival
Brian O’Malley’s new trek into terror has a wealth of promise. The film is The Lodgers, and while we really don’t have much media to share with you today, you can bet some promotional gifts will surface in the next week or so.
The movie debuts at TIFF in September, but there’s no telling when we’ll see a wide release.
Brian O’Malley (Let Us Pray) directs from a script penned by David Turpin (The Indecents).
The film stars Charlotte Vega ([REC] 3: Genesis), Bill Milner (X:Men: First Class), David Bradley (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) and Eugene Simon (Game of Thrones).
Synopsis:
Tells the story of a gothic ghost story about orphaned twins Edward (Milner) and Rachel (Vega) who share a crumbling manor in 1920s rural Ireland – but they are not alone. They share the house with unseen entities who control them with three absolute rules. As separate fates draw them apart, the twins must face the terrible truth about their family’s ghostly tormentors.
