We’re beginning to feel true excitement at the arrival of The Lodgers. We’ve still got quite some time before the film makes its way to the open market, but more time means more opportunities to promote the picture, and we’re good with that. In fact, you can check out a small gallery below in addition to the official 2017 TIFF trailer, which gives us a nice look at the films set to premiere!

Again, movie debuts at TIFF on September 8, 2017 at Scotiabank 3 at 7:15 PM.

Additional screenings include:

Public – September 9, 2017 / 4:15 PM / Scotiabank 3
P&I – September 9, 2017 / 9:30 PM / Scotiabank 7
P&I – September 14, 2017 / 1:30 PM / Scotiabank 10
Public – September 15, 2017 / 3:00 PM / Scotiabank 11

We’re hoping it won’t be too long before we see a wide release.

Brian O’Malley (Let Us Pray) directs from a script penned by David Turpin (The Indecents).

The film stars Charlotte Vega ([REC] 3: Genesis), Bill Milner (X:Men: First Class), David Bradley (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) and Eugene Simon (Game of Thrones).

Here’s that gallery (The TIFF trailer can be located below):

Synopsis:

Tells the story of a gothic ghost story about orphaned twins Edward (Milner) and Rachel (Vega) who share a crumbling manor in 1920s rural Ireland – but they are not alone. They share the house with unseen entities who control them with three absolute rules.  As separate fates draw them apart, the twins must face the terrible truth about their family’s ghostly tormentors.
