There’s Shock in ‘The Shelter’ Trailer

The Shelter not only looks awesome, it’s also going to be headed our way before too long, as the genre friendlies at Uncork’d have picked up rights and will drop this one in limited theaters and VOD outlets later this year.

Check out the trailer for the film below, and don’t let this one slip from your mind, it may turn out to be a special piece. The trailer certainly has promise… and Michael Paré is… well, Michael Paré!

John Fallon writes and directs. The film stars Michael Paré (The Lincoln Lawyer), Gayle James (A Simple Promise), Rachel Whittle (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), Lauren Thomas (Looper), Amy Wickenheiser (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2) and Brigette Rose.

Synopsis: On a star filled night, widower and homeless man Thomas (Michael Pare) finds shelter for the night when he falls upon a vast two story house with the lights on and an inviting open front door. Alas the next morning he finds out swiftly that the premises won’t let him depart. The doors are all locked, and the windows puzzlingly cannot be opened or broken. Destiny has brought Thomas to this place. Will he survive the ordeal?
