‘The Remains’ Trailer Looks Like a Secretive James Wan Project

Ghost stories and haunted house pics are seriously heating up in the mainstream. Given the fact that everything film related operates on a continuous loop, that’s not shocking. What can be shocking however, are the little surprises that pop up out of nowhere, like Thomas Della Bella’s feature length debut, The Remains.

There’s a new trailer making the rounds, and it represents the film well, giving us some quality shots that certainly spark a little curiosity. This one could go either way, but we’re choosing to be optimistic and wishing Bella well in his big debut.

Watch the trailer below, and you might find yourself pulling for the man, as well.

The Remains stars Todd Lowe (True Blood), Samuel Larsen (Glee), Nikki Hahn (American Horror Story), Lisa Brenner (The Patriot), Brooke Butler (All Cheerleaders Die), and Ashley Crow (The Good Son).

The Remains arrives on August 5^th.

Synopsis: After a family moves into an old Victorian home, they discover a chest in the attic containing antiques tainted by a malevolent spirit. As the antiques slowly possess each family member, the spirit hellbent on kidnapping the children.
