New ‘Death House’ Trailer has Dropped
The movie they’re calling “The Expendables” of horror, Death House, just released a red band trailer. It can be seen exclusively at bloody-disgusting.com, so jump on over there and give it a watch.
From everything I’ve read about this, I think it’s going to be a fun little romp. Gritty, grounded, but not flashy, this movie looks like it focused on story and character over high-pitched jump scares, and I’m all about it.
As director B Harrison Smith told Bloody Disgusting, “We aren’t embracing hype as “the scariest movie of the year.” Instead we made a damned good horror film that aims higher than the bar is presently set. A solid script, cool action, science fiction and dark conspiracy against the backdrop of what defines good and evil. That’s what we set out to make and we made a great film for these stars to be part of.”
And just listen to this lineup of actors: Adrienne Barbeau, Dee Wallace, Michael Berryman, Sid Haig, Barbara Crampton, and Kane Hodder just to name a few.
Go on over to Bloody Disgusting and check it out.
