‘The Strangers’ Director is Back with ‘The Monster’ and it Looks Awesome (Trailer)

Bryan Bertino is no joke. He’s not about to let Mockingbird define him, either. Bertino is looking to bounce back from the surprisingly murky and unenjoyable found footage film, and he’s returning to high gloss filmmaking, thank the stars. If you thought Bertino’s debut, The Strangers was awesome, you’re probably going to enjoy Bertino’s third film, The Monster.

The official trailer just went live, and it’s mighty gripping. There’s some serious tension in this film and it only takes a few minutes of chopped footage to understand that.

The film stars Zoe Kazan (Revolutionary Road), Ella Ballentine (The Calling) and Scott Speedman (The Strangers) and is available to check out exlusively on DirecTV, but heads to all outlets on November 11^th.
