Counting, Examining and Detailing Michael Myers’ Every Single Murder in the ‘Halloween’ Franchise!
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988)
18 human victims. It seems like Myers no longer has time to trouble himself with mangy canines
15 Attendant J. Black
It’s never nice to see someone have a thumb literally forced the skull. But such was the case for Black!
16 L. Evans
Evans is one of the paramedics transporting Myers. Given the fact that we later see the transport vehicle overturned in a gnarly crash, blood staining the interior of the vehicle, we don’t know precisely how Evans meets an end, as it happens off screen.
17 Paramedic
The same can be said for this lost soul.
18 Paramedic
And the same can also be said for this lost soul!
19 Mechanic
What the hell is Michael’s issue with mechanics? Whatever that issue may be, it’s on display here, as Michael impales a random mechanic with a metal rod (is that massive crowbar, or chisel?) of some sort.
20 Waitress
Soon after the mechanic bites it, so does a waitress. The death occurs off screen, so we can’t share too many details with you, but we can feel a bit of sadness for this youngster. Apparently no one ever informed her of the true depths of danger she may encounter on the waitressing gig.
21 Bucky
This guy’s the reason I never contemplated working for a power company. Bucky gets electrocuted by Myers, and sadly, he really didn’t do anything to deserve it. Bucky was survived by an overweight wife and three ill-behaved children.
22 Deputy Pierce
Pierce finds himself torn to shreds by Myers. And it’s disturbing, but not profoundly disturbing… you know those badge wearers like to take the law into their own hands. Perhaps this was karmic justice.
23 Police Officer
Another one bites the dust… in virtually the same fashion as Pierce.
24 Police Officer
Is it save to utilize the word, ditto, at this point?
25 Deputy Logan
Logan is the unfortunate fellow to be left standing guard, protecting Rachel, Jamie and the doomed kinda-boyfriend, Brady. He doesn’t do a good job, as Myers turns him into a human pretzel.
26 Kelly Meeker
Kelly is the film’s overt whore who cares not whose feelings she hurts, just as long as she can wrangle up a handsome boy and invite him to play doctor. Well, we all know the slut rarely, if ever survives. Kelly wasn’t one of the survivors. She gets pinned to the wall with a shotgun in a scene that feels like a fine nod to the late Bob Simms and his chilling exit from existence.
27 Brady
I’ve got to give Brady a lot of respect. He went out trying to protect Rachel and Jamie… he also engaged in a fist fight with Myers, which is pretty damn ballsy. Unfortunately, he won, and it wasn’t close. Brady has his skull squeezed to painful lengths before having his neck snapped. So long, hero.
28 Orrin Gateway
Orrin is one of the dumbass rednecks who think he can just dump a few rounds in Myers and be done with it. While out canvasing the local area, he’s shocked by Myers, who’s been clinging to the bed of the truck that seats this man. One knife wound to the back later, and a trip sailing through the night sky ensure he won’t be breathing again.
29 Alan “Big Al” Gateway
Another one of these morons who formed a tiny, unsuccessful vigilante group meets his end in the same fashion that Orrin met his. Instead of a knife wound to the back, this ignoramus gets it to the gut.
30 Unger
Is it safe to consider Unger dead? He’s one of the other vigilantes in the truck, but he’s simply thrown from the vehicle. Is he dead? We’ll choose to believe so. He’s certainly never spotted again in the movie.
31 Earl Ford
And then you’ve got Earl Ford, the leader of this reckless bunch. Unlike his posse, he isn’t just tossed from the truck, he gets a much more satisfying exit, as his throat is completely ripped out. Awesome!
